Why PommeGraphics?

Simple – I gew up in England.

After finishing my Degree in Graphic Design in London I travelled and ended up in Melbourne, fell in love with the country and set down roots. I have been an Australian Citizen for about 32 years now, longer than I lived in London. I started my career in Melbourne as the Art Director for Mushroom Records in the 80’s, crazy times. I have lived and worked mostly in Melbourne, apart from 3 years spent working in Bendigo and Traralgon. I have worked for a cross-section of businesses and government authorities, handling everything from Catalogues, Brochures, Advertising, Logo Design, to Annual Reports and Web Sites. I have also won awards for 2 Annual Reports for Kingston City Council in Melbourne.

I moved to country Victoria at the end of 2010. I live in Harcourt, just outside Castlemaine, where I bought 35 acres and an old house.

Understanding my clients, their product or service, where to position them in the market place and who their competitors and target audiences are – these are my primary tasks, and an ongoing challenge. My primary aim is to increase their profile and set them apart from their competitors.

I offer small to large businesses and Government authorities an intimate boutique service. I have worked for a diverse range of clients in the commercial arena from Deloittes, Mushroom Records, McGills Bookstore, 3RRR, Jetset Holidays, to small retailers, importers and manufacturing enterprises. I have also worked for many Councils and Government Authorities & Utilities, winning awards for some of my annual reports.

My work covers many areas including: Corporate identity, logos & branding, catalogues, magazines, newsletters, annual reports, corporate plans, brochures, flyers, advertising, posters, packaging, point of sale, copy writing, photography, exhibition design, print production and web sites.
